Mobile Development 

Avitus Solutions develops custom made applications not only for personal computers but also for personal devices such as PDAs, Mobiles and Pocket PCs. Furthermore, existing applications from PCs can be redeveloped (to meet size requirements) to fit on a personal device or vice-versa.

There are two approaches involved in accessing a mobile application:

• Using a server (mobile web development). Requires an internet connection to retrieve information. This can be limiting to an extent as an internet connection may not always be readily available. Conversely, it is highly advantageous as the information is stored in a Web Application which allows for more storage space. Please visit our section on Web Development for further information.
• In the absence of a server (strictly mobile development). Does not require an internet connection. Access to stored information is available at any time, any place. More features can be incorporated with richer interfaces. A higher level of security can be built in to prevent fraudulent activities.
